John works with the CEO and the leadership team of all group of companies. He also plays a key role in delivering pragmatic, value-added solutions for the entire group of companies. John is a seasoned financial services technology executive with over 30 years of experience leading Fortune 100 enterprise-level technology organizations in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an ability to lead transformational efforts from legacy environments up through today’s digital, cloud-based environments, while always keeping the client experience and security at the forefront.
John was the CIO for the Corporate Technology organization at JPMorgan Chase. He led global teams providing a broad range of technology support for corporate functions including Finance, Human Resources, Legal and Compliance.
Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, he was CIO for TD Ameritrade where he was responsible for the execution of strategic technology plans and managing executive relationships across all business lines. Through the adoption and adherence to a common software development lifecycle, he drove measurable improvement in quality and operating efficiency.
John began his career at Merrill Lynch where he spent 22 years with increasing responsibilities, culminating in a role serving as the CTO for the Global Wealth Management Division. He led transformational initiatives that dramatically reduced errors and increased operational efficiency, all while driving employee satisfaction scores to record levels.
John has been a Board Member of the Wall Street Technology Association since 2010, serving as President from 2011 to 2015. He was a member of the nPower CIO Council from 2010 – 2013. He is a member of Sand Hill East’s Executive Advisory Network.
John is an active fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
John received his Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Operations Management and Mathematics from Pace University.
